Did the Bungie CEO Lie? Microsoft's Interest in Acquiring Bungie Examined

Years after Pete Parsons, the CEO of Bungie, came out and said that rumors circulating about Microsoft looking to acquire Bungie were false, it has come to light via the FTC court case that Microsoft was indeed looking to reacquire Bungie. The email was first tweeted out by Tom Warren of The Verge.

The rumor first started when the ever-reliable games journalist Jeff Grubb spoke about it on a podcast in 2020, prompting the CEO of Bungie to tweet, 'This is false.'
