Blizzard’s ‘fastest-selling game ever" is Diablo 4

According to Activision Blizzard, Diablo 4 has achieved the distinction of being Blizzard's best-selling game to date in terms of its rapid sales performance.

The game's exceptional performance in terms of pre-launch unit sales on both console and PC forms the basis of this claim.

Today marks the official release of the game on PC, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PS5, and PS4. However, players who purchased the Deluxe or Ultimate edition were granted early access starting from June 1.

Although specific sales figures for the title were not disclosed by Blizzard, they did reveal that during the early access period, players accumulated an astounding playtime of over 93 million hours, equivalent to more than 10,000 years.

Blizzard president Mike Ybarra expressed their vision to create remarkable experiences for everyone to enjoy, emphasizing that Diablo IV is a remarkable realization of that vision. He further praised the game's highly customizable gameplay, captivating storytelling, and the multitude of options available for players to engage with the game's world. Ybarra regarded this masterfully crafted expression of the Diablo universe as a testament to the incredible capabilities of their talented development teams.

Diablo 4 offers cross-platform play and cross-progression across all platforms, allowing players to seamlessly continue their progress regardless of the platform they choose.
