It's finally becoming a reality: Rockstar Games has officially announced that the upcoming installment in the Grand Theft Auto series will release a trailer next month. It's likely to be titled GTA VI and is anticipated to introduce the franchise's first female protagonist, inspired by Bonnie and Clyde.
Following reports of a GTA VI revelation Last Night, Rockstar Games chose to make an official announcement today on X (formerly known as Twitter) that a trailer "for the next Grand Theft Auto" is scheduled for an early December release for the company's 25th Anniversary.

Grand Theft Auto V was initially launched a decade ago in 2013 and has since been adapted for successive generations of hardware, including the PS5 and Xbox Series X / S.
Grand Theft Auto V recently celebrated its 10th anniversary and has sold over 185 million copies since its initial launch on the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in 2013.
